Professional Organiser & Interior Stylist

Hello!

I'm Clara – I am a mum- 2 boys and a girl! I am considered organised, a straight shooter…& also a bit of a minimalist…

I love to travel, cook & entertain and with 3 young kids, I admit I haven't done much travel or entertaining in the recent years! Ha! 

I am so passionate about beautiful and productive environments whether they be homes, offices, restaurants or retail.  I love spaces that are minimal but interesting without excessive decoration – I always set out to create beautiful & functional spaces my clients can not only enjoy but can continue to maintain amongst busy family life. 



My Work


I love to coach people on ways to enhance their space, always with a focus on practical design particularly for families. I have always wanted to be an interior decorator / designer- although sometimes life just has other plans!

I held a senior management role in corporate retail for over 15 years. I have extensive hands-on experience in managing teams, coaching and leading people to achieve brand sales & strategic goals. I have tons of practical experience with Visual Merchandising, Spatial Planning and in store visual displays which I always considered the “fun” part of my job!


In 2017 after the birth of my second son I launched Decorate My Space. I offered my clients professional organisation services, with home styling and design advice when the opportunity presented itself. I have absolutely loved helping my clients (and family & friends) create spaces to love within their homes. 

It wasn’t until after the birth of my daughter in 2020 (plus a worldwide pandemic to lock us down!) I finally had the freedom to apply myself to study interior design and gain official accreditation.

In-Home Styling Service for people who want to refresh their space on a budget but don't know where to start!

- Initial in-home consultation to establish requirements & inspiration.

- Digital Sample Board + proposed shopping list

- In home styling working with new and existing pieces to enhance the space.

- One on One coaching on simple styling techniques to create a beautiful functional space.

ORGANISE MY SPACE

Kitchen Organisation Service. Suited to you if your kitchen is disorganised & the cause of stress.

-Initial Phone Consultation to establish requirements.

- Flexible 2-3 hour sessions of hands-on organisation including assessment of operational efficiency.

- Proposed visual shopping list to aid organisation (if required)

- Hands on coaching to improve organisation strategies within your kitchen.

- 3 month check in email

Having Clara from Decorate My Space come into my home has been life changing. Clara comes with many years of experience and knowledge and is passionate about helping you achieve your goals. She works with you to understand what is important and to establish systems that make everyday tasks more efficient. As a result, we now have a space that not only looks beautiful but functions well too. Our busy household can quickly become organised because of the incredible work she has done to reduce the quantity of items we had, to move things to a more suitable location and her amazing eye for design means we have a home with the feel we had only dreamed of.
